Catholic Youth Enrichment
Through Catholic Youth Enrichment (CYE), children in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade foster a closer relationship with Jesus, grow in their knowledge of their faith, and nurture their sense of community within their church family. It is also through this program that children of age of reasoning and youth up to the 12th grade prepare to celebrate the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation.

CYE Updates
CYE and First Communion Classes
- First Catechist-Parent meeting will be place on August Tuesday 18th or Wednesday 19th at 7:00 pm in English or 8:00pm in Spanish.
- Please bring any missing documents to complete your child’s file.
- Opening Mass for CYE program 2026-27 will be on September 9th at 7:00 pm in the Church.
- To be eligible to receive the Sacrament, it is a requirement for Home-class and regular student’s families to participate on Sunday, Holy day of obligation masses and all the activities of the program, in addition, your child must be present at least 85% of the Faith Formation Sessions.
- You must be present for all parent’s sessions.
- Your child/children must learn the basic Catholic prayers.
- All parents who have provided an email address should receive information. Please be aware and check your email box, regularly.
Parents, like the First Catechist, are given the wonderful opportunity to continue the catechesis at home with your child.

New Students for First Communion or the year of Sacramental Prep
- Two years of preparation program for 2nd to 12th school grades students.
- Registrations will begin on May 18th -22nd 2026 at the Office. Schedule will be announced.
- Registration dates will be extended until the first week of August during office hours.
- Registration Requirements: Baptism Certificate, Birth Certificate and $50 deposit non-refundable for first year of preparation program or $100 for Sacramental preparation year.
- If your child completes one year of preparation in another parish, please bring written evidence from the Parish Faith Formation Coordinator.
- Children who need the Sacrament of Baptism, please contact the Parish Office at 407-886-4602.
- First year of Communion preparation for Reconciliation and Communion will begin for children in 2nd grade and higher.
New CYE Students or the year of Sacramental Prep
- First year or returning faith formation program for K - 6th school grade will begin on September 9th with an opening mass in the church at 7:00 pm.

We Need You!
Our Office of Faith Formation is seeking persons to teach and assist in our Children’s Faith Formation – CYE Program. It takes a community to form our children and youth into faith. Please consider volunteering, your parish needs you.
We are in need of:
- Catechists, Catechist Assistants and volunteers Tuesday or Wednesdays at 6:15-7:45pm
- Office Assistants any day from Monday to Thursday 9:00am-12:00pm or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Children-Led Mass Assistants – Second Sunday of the month
- 9:00 am – Spanish Mass
- 11:00 am – English Mass
- 1:00 pm – Spanish Mass
