St. Francis Council of Catholic Women (CCW)
The Council of Catholic Women (CCW) acts through its organization to support, empower and educate all Catholic women in leadership and spirituality. CCW is a group dedicated to the unification of all women in religious education, social and service activities for the glory of God; to assist our pastor in spiritual and material undertakings for the welfare of our parish; CCW programs and activities respond with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world. Membership is open to all Christian women, 18 years and older, who are committed to putting God’s words into action through involvement and participation. Membership in a Catholic women’s organization demand’s a deeper commitment of one’s gifts. The gift of faith requires a gift in return.
The Saint Francis CCW is a service and social organization for all women of the parish. The purpose is to provide a spiritual enrichment, fellowship with the ladies of the parish, and financial support for parish and diocesan charities. Each year, CCW hosts fundraisers such as our lasagna dinner and Bunco.
