Sacred Presence: Spiritual Director Training Program

Sacred Presence is an intensive 10-month program that provides men and women with the spiritual formation and necessary skills to answer God's call to the ministry of Spiritual Direction, while earning a professional certificate in Spiritual Direction.

About the Program

• Most retreats and classes take place weekly in person at San Pedro with Mayslake instructors joining virtually
• 2-Day Opening Retreat and 1-Day Final Retreat and Ceremony
• 6 Formation Modules
• Guided Independent Study
• Traditional & Contemporary Catholic Resources
• Mastery of 15 Practice Skills
• 120+ hours of Skills Practice

In Order to Apply Candidates Must:

• Be in Spiritual Direction for at least 9 months to a year before the start of the program.
• Have previous experience in professional ministry or formal theological/pastoral education.
• Have completed the Diocese of Orlando Safe Environment Training and passed the required background check.
